5 must see waterfalls in Hamilton

There is no shortage of waterfalls in Ontario, Hamilton boasts 140+ alone! Mind you half of them suck so I decided to create this little go to manual for top 5 that you must see.

1. Websters Falls

Located just west of Toronto in the town of Dundas. The falls is overwhelmingly beautiful. There's several trails and parking to access the falls from either the top or the bottom. Websters is also conveniently situated within walking distance to Tews Falls and Dundas Peak.

2. Albion Falls

Another Hamilton beauty, this one located just off the Lincoln Alexander Parkway. Ample parking, easy access and an amazing view. What else could one ask for? Also.... Great place to take a date fellas ;) You can thank me later.

3. Devils Punchbowl

Situated on the edge of the escarpment in Stoney Creek this 112 foot waterfall is spectacular to explore. You can access it from the bottom (Much more exciting) and from the top. Mid summer there's nothing more than a trickle coming over the edge so save this for spring time or after heavy rain storms.

Tiffanys Falls

A popular one located in Ancaster known for its beauty and picturesque qualities. A short hike from the parking lot will put you at the bottom of this lovely spot. A popular location for ice climbing in the winter as well.

For the adventurous you can scramble up the left side of the falls and make your way to the top. Washboard falls; a cascade type is nestled up above which is worth the scramble alone. Tiffanys is just down the road from Shermans Falls also so you might as well check out both.

*Note if you slip and fall it's your own fault. Don't ruin it for the rest of us who come prepared.

Stephanies Falls

By far my favourite waterfall but like most things awesome it comes at a price:

1) It's situated on private property

2) The owner is a complete dick albeit I don't blame him as some of you sad excuse of humans go to beautiful places like this and leave garbage, hurt yourselves and ruin the fun for others. Don't be those people.

*Note I'm not liable if you go here. Nor am I liable if you get a ticket for trespassing. That being said do so at your own risk*
